Upper North News – September 2017

Kia ora Koutou

We said farewell to Judi Oliver a couple of weeks ago.  Fostering Kids NZ wants to acknowledge all the work, positive relationships and connections that Judi formed in her time as Regional Coordinator.  We wish her all the best for her future endeavours and journey.

Judi will still be delivering our National Caregiver Training Programme over the next while, so you’ll see her around.

In the interim, if you need support or some advice please continue to contact Fostering Kids NZ (0800 693 323) and ask for me.  There are also your wonderful Key Contacts (Sheryl, Molly, Margaret & Frank) that are local and happy to support you too.

October Snippets

The last week of September is going to be a very busy one for us, as we will be at our National Conference learning lots and meeting many caregivers.  Unfortunately this means that we won’t be able to get our October Snippets out to you on 1 October.  Instead we will share some learning from conference with you in the second week of October.

Training

The Attachment & Resilience workshop is coming up soon in Whangarei on 12th September. Register now to book your place, click on this link.  We are currently working on the Term 4 training schedule and this will be live on our website in a couple of weeks.
