Kia ora Koutou,Nga mihi mahana ki a koutou/ Warm greeting to you all,
It’s been a busy term with two workshops, five discussion sessions, two mid-winter events alongside support groups. The best part of my role is supporting caregivers who continue to experience a range of challenges. We do have some very caring members in our community.
I’d like to do a special shout out to Janine and Jim Vollebregt who continue to be passionate about gathering caregivers together through both their support group and hosting whanau friendly events; the most recent being the mid-winter fish and chip dinner. Thanks Janine and Jim!
A shout out to Diane as well who faithfully runs the Kin raising Kin support group every second Tuesday. (See support group dates below.)
Finally, nga mihi nui (thank you very much) to Andeana, Kerrie-Anne, her staff at Oranga Tamariki and you, our valuable, caregivers who helped to make the Whanganui Mid-Winter evening such a success. Happy school holidays everyone (Hari kuri harirei katoa).
