Kia Ora koutou/Greetings everyone!
What a neat day we had at Everett Park Holiday Park on Children’s Day. We enjoyed lots of sunshine, connection and a BBQ lunch. The young people enjoyed water slide and archery activities, the little ones were enthusiastic about a variety of old fashioned games like egg and spoon, musical chairs, and balloon races.
Thanks to everybody that supported the event and helped out. The popcorn machine was a winner! A special thanks to Paul and Maria for hosting us.
Acknowledgement must be paid to those families who suffered great loss on Friday 15 March. Such ugliness on our beloved shores is very hard to comprehend. My heart and prayers go out to everyone who was touched by this tragedy. “Waiho I te toipoto, kaua I te toiroa” Let us keep close together, not far apart.

TAUMARUNUI CAREGIVERS – Please see the Flyer below for the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Presentation in May. I’ve attended one of these presentations, they are extremely worthwhile and important information for every Caregiver due to the high precedent of children in care being exposed to Alcohol in utero.
