Kia ora everybody

We so often hear about social media in relation to our children and young people’s safety and mental health, and I received this information just this week from John Parson.

He has now written a book, has a brochure about it and also a short clip…please see below for the details and links. I think it would be well worth the purchase for all of us. Even if you have been lucky enough to hear him speak, it looks like a great book for the family.

“Over the last 10 years I have worked with victims of cyber-crime and delivered prevention first values based education in the classroom and the community. Parents would often ask me if I had any information they could take home with them. That has resulted in me publishing a book for parents.”

Keeping Your Children Safe Online

The introduction below describes the book.

You can also purchase the book online free delivery, please follow the instructions in this flyer.

October Snippets

The last week of September is going to be a very busy one for us, as we will be at our National Conference learning lots and meeting many caregivers.  Unfortunately this means that we won’t be able to get our October Snippets out to you on the 1 October.  Instead we will share some learning from conference with you in the second week of October.

Isn’t it great to see the sun, daffodils and baby animals about…the promise that summer is on the way.

Take care out there
Kindest of regards
Barbara
