Kia ora koutou/Greetings everyone

I am genuinely excited about bringing you ’The Importance of Play’ workshop. This workshop is just as relevant to caregivers of the older child/teens as it is to those looking after our babies and tamariki (children). I’m delivering it in Invercargill over two evenings in May. Register online or contact myself or our national office on 0800 100 849 if you are keen to attend this workshop.

We have been working with Oranga Tamariki to rewrite and update three of the training modules we deliver. These are; Child Development, Understanding and Supporting Behaviour, and Building Secure Attachments. I’m looking forward to bringing them to you over the next year. Please keep an eye out on the training calendar to see what’s in your area this term.

The L’Oréal Face you Future two-day event was on 19 & 20 April. I am sure all the young people who attended thoroughly enjoyed it. If you have a teen in your care aged 16-18 yrs. who will benefit from a two-day motivational workshop, register their interest with our events manger; events@nullfosteringkids.org.nz

And lastly, thank you for opening your hearts and your home to support those in need. We are here to support you on your journey so feel free you reach out for support whenever you need it.
