Kia Ora koutou/Greetings everyone!
We had an amazing day where our Regional Committee organised and hired the Embassy Cinema in Wellington for caregivers and their families to watch the new film Toy Story 4.
It was so popular I think we will certainly try and hire a cinema screen again soon!
Speaking of this:
We now have two committee members representing the Wellington city area and Kapiti coast.
Are you living in either the Horowhenua, Manawatu or Wairarapa districts? If you are and you can spare a little bit of time each month, have great ideas / planner then I’d love to hear from you! Or maybe you would like to know a little bit more about the role, if so then please give me a call.
I am really looking forward to meeting you all at training this next term, however July is quiet on the training front, due to school holidays.
I do have lots going on for the rest of the term though, including the new and updated Legal Issues workshop in Palmerston North. It includes the new legislation that came into force on 1 July 2019.
Have a look on our website to find out where and when I am closest to you!
On 25 July we have a new and exciting support group starting up in Lower Hutt. More information about this soon.
Don’t forget you can contact me via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org or call/text me on 027 501 0394. We also have a Private Facebook Group too, which you can join!
Ngā manaakitanga (with best wishes)
