The year is zooming, by especially now that the weather is warmer.

I wish you all a happy school holidays. I hope that you can enjoy lots of outdoor experiences in some of the wonderful nature playgrounds we are blessed with.  Nothing like a dose of nature with an abundance of sensory experiences to calm the brainstem!

The GISBORNE REGIONAL HUI on Tuesday 30 October & the HASTINGS REGIONAL HUI on Thursday 1 November are just around the corner!!!!!

Training

“Understanding & Supporting Behaviour” workshop on 14 September had a great turnout of awesome whanau caregivers, respite, permanent and transitional caregivers.  There was plenty of lively input to this new workshop which goes into the subject with good depth. Gisborne Caregivers – you rock!!!

He maha whakawhetai/many thanks to the lovely ladies from Turanga Social Services who looked after us so well with setting up and providing us all with lunch.  Nga mihi nui.

In the November Snippets I will report back to you about the Napier & Waipukurau workshops which I am delivering on 26 & 27 September.
