TRIPLE T – Teamwork Towards Healing Trauma Affected Children Using a Therapeutic Approach.
I am excited to be in the final stages of planning for a hui in Gisborne on 30 October and one in Hastings on 1 November. These hui are open to all caregivers and professionals and registration is free for Fostering Kids NZ, caregiver members. Registration will open later in the month.
Grans Raising Grandies, Te Puke will be holding regular get togethers on the first Monday of each month at 10.30 am.

Papa Kainga Foster Care Support: In home monthly visits by ECE trained educators for under school age children. Support Group for all types of caregivers on the first Friday of each month 10.00am till 12.00pm at the Hillier Centre, 31 Gloucester Rd, Mt Maunganui. Come and share a cuppa, receive support and awhi (embrace/surround) each other in the wonderful work you do.

Reminder: For those that missed the one in June, the new workshop Building Secure Attachments will be held in Tauranga at The Hillier Centre on 3 August.
The “Identity & Belonging” workshop will be held in Rotorua Friday 24 August. This time to be held in the Kiwi Room, Oranga Tamariki (CYF).
We are also running a workshop in Whakatane for the first time in a few years. I’d love to see you there. The workshop is the newly written Understanding and Supporting Behaviour and will be held on 14 September at Oranga Tamariki (CYF).
