Over the holiday season there will be some changes to the regular scheduled board payments.
Oranga Tamariki has already sent this information to you directly. But in case you missed it –
The arrangements for board payments over the 2017/2018 Christmas and New Year period are as follows:
- The board run 4 December for the period 22/11/2017 to 6/12/2017 will include the Christmas Allowance payment and will be in caregivers’ accounts on Wednesday, 6 December 2017.
- The board run 18 December for the period 7/12/2017 to 19/12/2017 will include Clothing Allowance and any catch up Christmas Allowance (that didn’t make the previous run) and will be in caregivers’ accounts on Wednesday, 20 December 2017.
- The board run 1 January for the period 20/12/2017 to 2/01/2018 will be brought forward to Thursday, 21 December (as 1 Jan is a public holiday). Batches must be approved by 3.30pm. Please note there is a change to when caregivers will receive payment because of public holidays; payment for this run will be in caregivers bank accounts on Thursday, 28 December 2017 (5 days early) not 3 January as would be expected.
- The board run 15 January for the period 3/01/2018 to 16/01/2018 will include Clothing Allowance payment and will be in caregivers’ accounts on Wednesday, 17 January 2018.
