The second Australasian Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD Conference will be held in Perth on 21 & 22 November 2018 – with the theme being “FASD Our Science, Our Stories”. This conference will bring the community together with academia and clinical practitioners in order to share their knowledge of FASD and the latest perspectives on diagnosis and management of FASD. With the strong bond between families, practitioners and researchers within this area; this conference will be a great opportunity to network and deepen existing partnerships.
This year, the conference will be hosted by FASD Research Australia Centre and will have keynote speakers such as Professor Svetlana Popva (MD, PhDs, MPH is a Senior Scientist at CAMH’s Institute for Mental Health Policy Research) and Dr Michael Kobor (Professor in the Department of Medical Genetics at the University of British Columbia).
