Ngā mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa (Warm greetings to you all)

As the end of the year rapidly draws near, everybody I speak to is busy. I find I’m having to be mindful of my own well-being and ensure I take moments to switch off from the demands that capture my attention and time. For some of us this is easier than others. The people I notice who do this well tend to do three things: firstly, they are attuned to their own bodies, emotions and thought life and recognise when things are getting on top of them. Secondly, they have a good sense of self-worth and recognise the importance of self-care. And thirdly, they actively plan ahead moments and opportunities into their schedule to ensure they can grab some rest. I’ve included Brene Browns wonderful quote. I hope you find ways to be kind to yourself over the next couple of months!
