Kia Ora All
This month I had the pleasure of meeting with our South Auckland and Waikato/Hauraki Key contacts.
We have some very passionate and wonderful people on our team. Sadly though, we have had to say goodbye to Wendy-May Scott who has had to resign from the role due to family matters. Thanks for all your hard work Wendy-May and we wish you and your family the best.
This month I also had the pleasure of attending an Elevate bike event. The event was sponsored by Sistema plastics. The company has just expanded and wanted to give back to the community and chose Fostering Kids NZ to support children receiving bikes. They ran a team building day for their supervisors and senior staff. All were very friendly and made our children feel welcome.
Remember that you to could nominate a child to receive a bike. Go on to our Fostering Kids NZ website and complete this form.
The last week of September is going to be a very busy one for us, as we will be at our National Conference learning lots and meeting many caregivers. Unfortunately this means that we won’t be able to get our October Snippets out to you on 1 October. Instead we will share some learning from conference with you in the second week of October.
