Kia Ora all
This year is going way to fast and we have a lot coming up. Our conference this year will be held in Christchurch on 28–29th September 2017. It will again be an amazing event. Start planning now, while flights are cheap. Go to our website for more information; http://fosteringkids.org.nz/events-2/national-conference/.
We want to welcome the new service; Oranga Tamariki, Ministry for Vulnerable Children. We know there will be changes that are going to flow through over the next five years. We have been encouraged to believe these are going to be positive changes for children in care and caregivers. We have information on our Fostering Kids NZ website for you to look through.
We have been selected for the GOOD IN THE HOOD again. This time our tokens will be collected at Z Skyway. Last year we received $2400 from GOOD IN THE HOOD for our Family Fun day event that we ran in March. We will be looking at running another event at the end of the year and would love you to come and vote for us. Voting starts on the 1st May and goes through to the end of May. So don’t forget to get your petrol purchases from Z Skyway station.
Contact myself or Debbie Guymer if you would like any.
