Tena koe and Happy New Year

I hope your holiday season was filled with love, laughter and whanau.  I had a lovely break with my kids and I also managed a road trip.

It was great to see such a big turnout at the Kiwi Valley event hosted by Foster Hope Auckland for children in care.  Their support for carers and children was amazing last year and I hope to continue that relationship in 2018. I’m really excited for what 2018 will bring and working with many of you amazing caregivers this year.

Next month we celebrate Foster/Whanau caregivers in a week of honour.  Along with the Fostercare Excellence Awards that will take place in Wellington, we will be hosting a Caregivers Special Appreciation Dinner on 3rd March 2018. An invitation with all the details will be sent out via email soon as well as on our Facebook page, so keep an eye out to register as it should be a fabulous night.

To make sure you are kept up-to-date, please make sure you join our facebook page ‘Fostercare Auckland Support’ ‘ and our National page ‘Fostering Kids New Zealand’ as well as our website:, for up-to-date news and events.
