Message from Sasha
Welcome back, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and holiday break with Whanau and are excited about what 2017 will bring. I’m hoping we see some sunny weather for beach trips and BBQ’s this summer. I look forward to supporting all you wonderful caregivers this year and meeting many of you at the support groups and trainings available throughout the year. Do not hesitate to get in touch if you need anything. Please make use of these meetings as it’s a great way to get involved and connect with other caregivers.
With Foster Care Week coming up in March, please keep an eye out for events being held on Facebook and also via email from Fostering Kids NZ and your local associations.

A HUGE thank you to Nadia Lim and My Food Bag for donating 65 My Christmas Food Bags on Christmas Eve for our wonderful caregivers. If you were lucky enough to receive one, I hope you enjoyed the deliciousness.
I will definitely be ordering their Family Bags from now on.
Thank You to The Warriors!
Thank you to the The Warriors for spending their afternoon wowing the caregiver families with their training session.
The families had a great time getting a mini tour around the stadium and having a chance to meet the boys and get their photos taken.
Also thanks to Chi and The Warehouse Silverdale for donating snacks and drinks for those attending the event.
Thank You to The Warehouse!
The Warehouse Silverdale and Whangaparaoa branches have chosen Fostering Kids NZ (Auckland North Region) to fundraise for through their Bags for Good Neighbourhood campaign.
